New insights within the Global PwC Hopes & Fears Survey 2024
Employees are ready for change. Are leaders ready to involve them?
The German results of PwC's Hopes & Fears Survey 2024 on Workforce Transformation show strong signs of optimism among employees, but also the necessity to actively involve employees in the transformation processes.
A Call for Open Communication: Change is everywhere – and employees can feel it
The results of the survey among more than 56,000 workers worldwide reveal mixed signals indicating a global workforce caught between the present and the future. While employees are open to the future, current challenges may affect their perspective on what the future might bring and their potential contribution to it.
Despite compelling business reasons for change – CEOs are urgently striving to evolve their companies to become future-proof in the long term – leaders need to communicate more effectively why change is necessary and clearly convey this to their most important stakeholder, their workforce.
This year's survey takes a closer look at three themes from the employees’ perspective – leadership in times of change, harnessing the potential of GenAI, and creating a sustainable employee experience, with 2,050 employees from Germany having given their input.
