Workforce Risk Management Insights for HR decision-makers

Webcast: Working time recording - what does this mean in practice?

Since the decision of the Federal Labour Court (BAG), all companies are obliged to record the working hours worked by their employees. Section 16 of the draft bill to revise the Working Hours Act (ArbZG-E) also stipulates that "the employer is obliged to electronically record the start, end and duration of the employee's daily working hours on the day the work is performed". How is your company organised in this respect?

In this interview, Dr Holger Miß, Head of International Markets, together with Stephan Weber, expert for HR processes and systems, and Sebastian Boll, lawyer for labour law, will explore the question of what needs to be done when the new version of the Working Hours Act comes into force.

The focus will be on the following topics:

  • Is there already a need for action?
  • What do I have to do when the law comes?
  • What exactly needs to be recorded, when and by whom?
  • What are the challenges and what are the requirements?
  • What are other companies already doing?
  • What impact does working time recording have on current working time models and new areas such as remote work?

Our experts will share practical examples and insights as well as concrete approaches on how you can optimise processes, resources and results of your HR function with regard to working time recording and identify necessary adjustments.

(The webcast will be held in German language)
