Subsidies from the employer for the so-called 49-Euro-Deutschlandticket exempt from tax and social security
On 16.03.2023, the Bundestag decided to introduce the "49-Euro-Ticket" (so-called Deutschlandticket) as successor model to the 9-Euro-Ticket existing between June and August 2022. On 31 March 2023, the Bundesrat also approved the implementation of this nationwide ticket for local transport. The ninth law amending the Regionalisation Act has now been forwarded to the Federal President for signature and will be promulgated in the Federal Law Gazette shortly afterwards.
